Solutions and Healthier Solutions Proposition Enhancements

At Aviva we pride ourselves on giving our customers what they want. That’s why we've listened to your feedback and taken action to enhance our Solutions and Healthier Solutions products. Solutions is our private medical insurance product designed specifically for SMEs, while Healthier Solutions is designed for your individual clients.

From the 1 March 2021 the following enhancements, plus a number of other improvements, will be applied to these products. We'll also be making a number of other changes including the removal of our emergancy overseas benefit. You can view more details on our dedicated webpage here.

Expert Select is a new hospital option for your clients, included in Solutions and Healthier Solutions

It provides a simpler, supported claims journey, and the choice of a number of Aviva quality-approved facilities and specialists in their area. With Expert Select, they also have the option to book their first specialist appointment there and then. This improved clinical quality also results in greater cost efficiency and affordability for your clients.

Mental Health Pathway - Now included in Solutions core cover

Our Mental Health Pathway service enables your clients to help keep their employees well. They can get quick access to a wide range of specialists including talking therapy and counselling without the need to see a GP. As well as helping to reduce absenteeism, it can also help speed up the route to recovery and a successful return to work.

Enhanced Cancer Benefits - Now included in Solutions and Healthier Solutions core cover

Our enhanced cancer benefits include the removal of the 10-year limit on follow up consultations and cover extended to include preventative bisphosphonates, which can help prevent certain cancers from re-occurring. We’ve also made it clearer that, in some circumstances, your clients have the option to choose where they are treated, in hospital or at home if it’s more comfortable for them.
