Two-step verification will soon be mandatory on Aviva Broker

If you haven’t activated two-step verification yet, please do this as soon as you can, as this will soon be a mandatory requirement. Once it’s set up and you’ve logged in for the first time, you can register your device as 'trusted' and skip verification in the future.

You can use either text message or email for two-step verification to secure your Aviva Broker account. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account and your clients’ data. With cyber threats continuing to rise across the industry, we strongly recommend activating this today.

How do I set up two-step verification on my account?

  • Log into Aviva Broker
  • Go to ‘My Account’ in the My Services menu
  • Select ‘Two-step verification’
  • Choose text message or email
  • Click ‘Set up two-step verification’
  • If text message was selected, enter your mobile number, with no spaces – please note, this needs to be a UK number
  • If email was selected, we'll use the email on your account – please make sure this isn't a shared email address as this compromises the security of your account
  • Enter the verification code
  • You’ll be all set up and should see a confirmation screen
