Help keep your Aviva Broker account secure


You can now choose email as an option for two‑step verification, giving you an extra layer of protection for your account and client data. With cyber threats and security risks continuing to rise across the market, we strongly recommend enabling two‑step authentication for your Aviva Broker account.


Two step authentication has been available on the Aviva Broker website for the past three years, so you may already be using it. If you haven't already enabled this then you now have the option to use SMS or email to confirm your identity when logging in or making security changes - helping ensure that only you can access your account.


Tip - once you’ve set up two‑step verification and logged in for the first time, you can register your device as trusted to skip this step in future.


How do I set up two-step verification on my account?

  • Login to Aviva Broker
  • Go to ‘My Account’ in the My Services menu
  • Select ‘Two-step verification’
  • Choose text message or email
  • Click ‘Set up two-step verification’
  • If text message was selected enter your mobile number, with no spaces – please note, this needs to be a UK number
  • If email was selected, we'll use the email on your account – please ensure this isn't a shared email address as this compromises the security of your account
  • Enter the verification code
  • You’ll be all set up and should see a confirmation screen
