Did you know 46% of SMEs have suffered at least 1 cyber attack or breach in the last 12 months*?

And with the instances of fraud increasing in light of the pandemic, it’s clear criminals will capitalise on any major event to scam those most vulnerable.

We know it can be a challenge to keep one step ahead so we want to keep you informed of the scope of the risk by bringing you a series of cyber webinars, providing you with the knowledge and advice you need to stay safe.

In the first of the series, we were joined by Simon Newman from the Police Digital Security Centre who shared valuable data and insight into the nature and scale of the problem. Our in-house risk management expert Peter Holmes also dedicated some of the session to jargon busting common cyber terminology.

If you missed it you can catch up here.

Peter also hosted the second webinar alongside Neil Arklie, Head of Cyber Insurance at Aviva. In this session the pair discussed common misconceptions, addressed business reservations around the need for cyber insurance and shared 12 top tips to improve cyber security. Catch up here.

Finally, the third webinar on 5 November featured a panel of both in-house and external industry experts discussing how the insurance industry has responded to the cyber threat. The recording of this session can be found here.

For those of you who joined and submitted questions to our hosts, a Q&A document will be shared shortly.
