‘Compliance with Confidence’ - This full-day CII-accredited seminar from UKGI Ltd (our key broker compliance proposition partner), is returning this autumn in two locations. The sessions will take place in London on 23 October and West Midlands on 13 November, to keep you up to date on the latest compliance and governance topics.

John King - former GI Supervision manager at the FCA – will once again be delivering an informative auditorium-style session to reflect on the impact of the Consumer Duty since implementation, lessons learned and priorities for firms for the year ahead. Other compliance and governance experts will be speaking on subjects such as firms taking a holistic approach to FCA compliance, and sources of business and partner management.

You’ll also be able to choose two break-out compliance sessions to directly engage with consultants on key matters cascading from the FCA Thematic Review TR24/2: “General insurance and pure protection product governance thematic review.” These include product governance in the distribution chain (highlighting weaknesses identified by the FCA and how to mitigate them); a look at the price and value outcome and its role in demonstrating fair value; and data, metrics and good MI, with examples of how and why firms can make improvements.
