Congratulations to our FLP class of 2024
We’ve recently had the pleasure of celebrating the success and dedication of our Future Leader Programme cohort 5 at their graduation ceremony in London. Compered by course hosts, John Nutter and Dan Wall (described on the night as the insurance industry’s Ant & Dec!), the evening saw reflections on the last two years of learning, with speeches from some of our delegates, Aviva Managing Director, Commercial UKGI & Distribution Officer Dave Martin and Programme Partner Ian Stutz.
As always, three special awards were presented on the night. This year’s winners were:
- Delegates Choice Award – Millie Smith (Macbeth Insurance Brokers)
- Trainers Choice Award – Jordan Gadsby (Independent Insurance Bureau Ltd)
- Ian Stutz Recognition Award – Matt Duffy (Protect Commercial Insurance)
A huge congratulations to all 22 of this year’s Future Leader Programme graduates – our biggest cohort yet! Completing this programme is no small feat, and the dedication and effort you've all shown is truly commendable. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off and we look forward to following yours and your businesses successes.

And a massive well-done to cohort 6 of the Future Leader Programme
In November, our 6th cohort of the Future Leader Programme took on the challenge of delivering their ‘Big Pitches’ to our Aviva ‘Dragons’ – a panel made up of senior Aviva colleagues.
The ‘Big Pitch’ is renowned as one of the most demanding aspects of our programme. It's designed to push people out of their comfort zones and make any future public speaking feel like a breeze.
Each group demonstrated incredible dedication, not only in crafting innovative ideas but also in delivering their presentations with confidence and flair. Your hard work and commitment are truly appreciated.
