Cyber policies now on an 'Any One Claim' basis

You asked for broader, simpler and more competitive cyber cover – and we listened.

We're moving to an Any One Claim (AOC) basis of cover across our Cyber Respond and Cyber Complete products. This is a direct response to your feedback and a strategic step to keep our cyber offering competitive, relevant and easy to place.

AOC means that the policy limit is available for each and every claim made during the policy period, rather than being capped by an overall annual aggregate limit.*

Why this matters to you and your clients

  • Getting real-world ready - Cyber attacks can strike at any time. AOC covers each incident, so clients aren’t disadvantaged by timing or multiple events. While limits apply, this structure helps reduce the risk of gaps in coverage.

  • Addressing underinsurance - By applying a per-claim limit, clients are better protected against multiple incidents, helping to reduce the risk of underinsurance.

  • Establishing market alignment - AOC is now the standard across leading providers.

  • Securing client retention - Wider cover means fewer objections and better placement outcomes.

  • Simplifying selling - No more explaining complex aggregate structures or requests to reinstate cover.

  • Clarfiying the claims experience - Each claim is treated independently, helping to make the process clearer.
