The Aviva Future Leader Programme welcomes a new programme partner
Established in 2018, the Aviva Future Leader Programme (FLP) supports individuals from regional brokerages who have the potential to be the leaders of the future.
Delivered over two years, the FLP covers the essential knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to run a successful insurance broker business. It's run by our Aviva Learning and Development team with support from programme partners and mentors.
Our newest programme partner is Ian Stutz from Baker Street Consultancy. Ian has worked in the insurance Industry for 40 years including 15 years as part of the Aon UK Senior Management Team. He was then invited to invest in a Leicester based Broker BHIB and Broking Group Brokerbility following an MBO. As a shareholder and owner in 2020, he sold the business to Clear Group and is now on the main board of Clear Group. In addition to this work, Ian also provides consultancy support to Aviva Club 110 brokers and for over 10 years, has had the opportunity to see and learn about the myriad of management styles that contribute to a successful independent broker.
There’s no magic formula to success but having the right attitude and a good level of experience (both good and bad) in the various facts of running a business are major contributors. I hope sharing my experiences and knowledge gained will allow me to bring the best out of the FLP delegates.Ian Stutz
Ian will join us as lead programme partner from January 2023, meaning he’ll be supporting cohort 5 delegates in their journey on the FLP.
Join cohort 5
Applications for cohort five of our FLP are open now and until the end of September. Aviva is for everyone, we're inclusive and we want to support applications from people with diverse backgrounds, all genders and experiences. If you’ve got a candidate at board level or shortly to be a board member, we’re interested in hearing from you.
