The results are in! Discover which cause won a share of £100,000

After two weeks of broker votes, we’re delighted to announce the two causes that have been chosen as the winners of our Financial Wellbeing initiative, run through the Aviva Foundation. Thanks to your votes, two incredible charities will receive the winning share of £100,000 to help them build brighter financial futures in communities across the UK.

Hundreds of you got involved which saw ‘Helping people get back on their feet’ receive the most votes – meaning that Trussell and Turn2us will receive a £35,000 funding boost each!

  • Trussell  - works tirelessly to support people facing hunger and hardship, providing emergency food and support while advocating for systemic change.
  • Turn2us - offers straight-forward information and practical support to anyone struggling with money. They work with communities to build up local support networks and take on broken systems to build a future where we all have enough money to live well.

This winning boost will help both charities to expand their services, reach more people and create lasting change for people struggling to make ends meet.

The remaining £30,000 will be shared equally between the remaining organisations receiving £5,000 each - Refuge, Surviving Economic Abuse, Mental Health Innovations, Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, Mencap and Young Enterprise.

Thank you for your participation - every vote helped to direct the funds where they’ll make the biggest difference.
