Feedback and themes from the Aviva Broker Roadshows

Over the past 12 weeks, we’ve been on the road connecting with brokers across the UK as part of our 2026 Aviva Broker Roadshows. Hosted by our regional teams and joined by members of our Senior Leadership Team, we visited Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton and London.

These roadshows brought our Unstoppable Together ambition to life, listening to your feedback and sharing how our strategy across the business is consistently driving better service for brokers and outcomes for customers.

Your knowledge, strengthened by our insight

Meeting brokers face to face gave us invaluable time to listen to and share perspectives on the market, customer needs and the challenges shaping 2026. By bringing together brokers, our regional colleagues and senior leaders in the room, the roadshows created an open forum for insight-sharing and practical discussion, helping to deepen understanding on both sides.

Across the series, you told us how valuable it was to hear directly from our specialists and industry guests about emerging risks, economic conditions and political developments, reinforcing your ability to advise clients with confidence.

  • Michael Grady, Head of Investment Strategy and Chief Economist at Aviva, shared economic insight to help brokers anticipate pressures and opportunities ahead
  • Scott Colvin, Group Director of Public Affairs at Aviva, provided political updates relevant to client and sector conversations
  • Mark Ferguson, Head of Reputation, Crisis and Client Operations at Pinsent Masons LLP, offered a wider view on political and reputational considerations

These sessions aimed to strengthen brokers’ existing knowledge with timely, relevant insight that adds value to your client relationships.

Your local standing, reinforced by our regional presence

With more than 500 brokers attending eight events nationwide, the roadshows reflected the importance of local understanding and regional connection. Being able to meet people face to face helped reinforce relationships that matter day-to-day.

Spending time in your local markets made sure the discussions reflected regional challenges, supporting you to continue building trusted positions within your communities and customer bases.

Your claims confidence, deepened by our dependability

Claims sessions at the roadshows focused on how we’re building faster, smoother and more reliable journeys in direct response to broker feedback. Brokers heard how continued investment in Aviva-owned repairer networks is shortening claim durations and delivering commercial motor repairs around 50% faster than the market average - helping customers recover quicker and reducing business disruption.

Since the roadshows, our claims capability has been strengthened even further through the acquisition of DisasterCare, enhancing disaster recovery and restoration expertise for property claims and supporting quicker specialist mobilisation, improved damage mitigation and a simpler, more seamless experience for brokers and clients following major losses.

At the events, brokers also heard how fraud detection investments and enhanced digital claims capabilities, with real-time claims tracking, mean we’re giving brokers greater confidence and reassurance to support customers when it matters most.

Feedback throughout the series has reinforced the value of us coming together, sharing insight and having time for open discussion

Michael Yabantu: Yeah, so eight roadshows. That's a wrap. We've been to Leeds, Manchester, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Southampton and Glasgow. So right the way across the country. That's really important. We've got a massive regional presence, so it's a really good opportunity to get in front of brokers, in their local markets, understand the things that we're delivering, the things that are important to them, the challenges that they're facing in their local markets, and the industries that they serve, and the communities that we serve, and how we can work together better with them, through our regional teams, through our claims teams to make sure we're better protecting customers in those regions.

David Park: For us to be unstoppable as an insurance broker, we've got to do the right job for the client, and understand exactly what the client needs. But then if we can get that across to Aviva and they understand us, which they do, that makes us both unstoppable. We can push forward. We can put the right terms to clients. We can put the right covers to clients, but also know we're gonna get the right service levels back.

Marcia Berry: That reassurance that Aviva are going in the right direction, they're listening to brokers, and they wanna do the right thing. They help with the relationship building. They give you a voice in the room, so they give brokers the chance to air their views and voice concerns.

Craig Williams: Yeah, I think the kinda networking side of it, seeing obviously the representatives from Aviva, but also other brokers share some stories and the Q&A side of it as well.

Julie Burton: I always like the Aviva roadshows 'cause they're always positive. I always leave with a buzz.

Dave Martin: We've covered our business from personal lines, to commercial lines, to global corporate and specialty. We are delighted to be able to present also our claims proposition and our outcomes, and I look forward to seeing you all at Aviva.

Thank you

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the past 12 weeks to be part of the conversations around the UK. We look forward to seeing more of you at the BIBA conference in Manchester this month and building on these conversations.

Working in partnership with you is how we continue to be Unstoppable Together.
