Aviva and Insure TV: Cyber Live

Back in December we were pleased to be involved in the Insure TV Cyber Live event.

Our Chief Underwriting Officer for Specialty Lines Matt Gordon took part in a panel discussion amongst other industry experts looking at the evolving cyber threat, the challenging market conditions and how insurers have responded. One of the key messages from Matt throughout this discussion was how our own cyber proposition has been refined and refreshed over the past 18 months and the support we are offering brokers in this space, particularly those with SME clients.

Our Senior Cyber Underwriter Alana Muir was also interviewed in a breakout session looking at minimum security standards and what, in her opinion, businesses should be doing to meet them in order to secure cover.  These include the basics such as staff training, effective patching processes and Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
