Aviva Broker Community Fund celebrates 10 years with largest fund to date
The Aviva Broker Community Fund returns in September, celebrating 10 years of helping brokers like you support good causes in your local community. This year’s £300,000 is the largest fund total to date on top of over £1.3m already given out across more than 320 grants since 2010.
Gareth Hemming, Aviva’s Chief Distribution Officer, said; “It is great news that we can bring the Aviva Broker Community Fund back, giving brokers the opportunity to continue their support for their communities through local causes and charities. The pandemic restrictions have been particularly tough for small charities and local organisations who rely on regular fundraising and community support to keep them running. We know that up and down the country, these organisations have such an amazing impact on the people they touch. Brokers are very much a part of their communities so are incredibly well placed to support local causes by putting them forward for an award. I am really excited to see the range of entries and I look forward to seeing which causes the Aviva Broker Community Fund will support as we step forward into 2022.”
The Aviva Broker Community fund gives you the opportunity to champion any good cause that's making a difference in your local community. For example – a programme to care for vulnerable community members, an initiative to enhance the environment and protect against impacts of climate change, or charity that needs a hand to bounce back from the pandemic. You can submit an application for funding from 1 September until 24 October. The awards are split across four separate levels, plus if you enter before 30 September, your cause will be entered into the prize draw to win one of 25 early entry awards worth £500 if not chosen as a winner of one of the main awards.
