Closure of our Pub, Restaurant & Hotel product on Fast Trade

We want to make trading with us even easier. This means weʼre continually reviewing our product range and identifying opportunities to simplify and streamline our offering where appropriate.

Through recent developments to our products like Commercial Combined Insurance (CCI) and the capacity within Shop and Salon (SSP), weʼre able to simplify our solution for your Leisure clients.

With this in mind, weʼve decided to close our Pub, Restaurant and Hotel product (PRP).
 

How does this affect how I trade this business with you?

• New business – the Pub, Restaurant & Hotel product will be closed to new business from 17 October 2022. However, youʼll be able to continue to trade with Aviva through Commercial Combined Insurance (CCI) and Shop and Salon (SSP). This will also apply to any pending new business quotes. See below for more information.
• Mid-term adjustment (MTAs) – the product will remain open for MTAs and cancellations for existing business.
• Renewals – weʼll start re-quoting all existing business in November. This will affect your renewals from January 2023 onward and weʼll be in touch with more detail next month.

Where do I place my PRP risks moving forward?

In June, we expanded the capability under our Commercial Combined product to cater for a number of Leisure trades that are currently available under our Pub, Restaurant & Hotel product. This means we have your Leisure clients covered between our Commercial Combined and Shop and Salon products.

How do I know which product to choose for my Leisure clients?

To help navigate this, when you select ʻGet Quoteʼ on the Pub, Restaurant and Hotel product tile on Fast Trade, weʼll present a pop-up box for you to select the trade. Weʼll then present the appropriate product tile for you:
