New File Uploader now live on Notify and Track Claim

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance and invest in our digital capabilities, we’re delighted to announce a new File Uploader feature. This addition is a direct response to your valuable feedback, particularly highlighted at last year's claims roadshows, requesting the ability to upload files directly when notifying us of a claim online.

Using our Notify and Track Claim features makes managing claims easier. With Notify Claim, you can report motor or property claims online via the 'Notify Claim' button in the Claims tab, receive a claims reference number immediately and now, with the new file upload feature, you can also upload documents, images and other files directly.

For existing claims, Track Claim allows you to get updates and upload any additional files needed to progress the claim, reducing the need to email us and reducing manual steps for your team. This new functionality helps streamline your document management process, making the claims journey as smooth as possible.

Key benefits include:

  • Ease of use - the file uploader interface is user-friendly and improves the efficiency of managing claims by reducing the need to email us and minimising manual steps
  • Timesaving - you can upload multiple files at once, reducing the time spent on manual submissions
  • Enhanced security - all uploaded files are securely stored and managed in line with data protection and compliance

Getting started

If you're already a registered user of our online claims services, simply log in to your account and navigate to the File Uploader section under Track Claim. In a single upload, you can add up to 10 documents with a total size limit of 7MB. You can also upload multiple times in separate transactions. Please note that currently video files can't be uploaded.

If you've not used our online claims services before, you’ll just need to be registered for the Aviva Broker website. Once registered, log in, go to the Claims tab, and select the ‘Request access here’ button. Your online claims access will be enabled within 48 hours, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

We value your feedback to help us continually enhance our digital capability. If you have any feedback or comments, please reach out to your Claims Relationship Lead or visit our claims service page, where you'll find additional resources and video guides.

Did you know?

This latest enhancement builds on a string of updates throughout 2024, including the launch of our all new broker API with Acturis, (which cuts out the duplication of re-keying), all designed to help streamline claims processes for you when notifying us of new claims or providing documents to progress any existing claims.
