Aviva Broker Community Fund 2023 - Winners announced
Congratulations to the 40 winning brokers who have successfully secured a share of this year’s £300,000 Broker Community Fund for their favourite cause. The winners were revealed and awarded at our awards event on Tuesday 17 October in London, which was hosted by Ryan Birbeck, Broker Development Director, and Rugby World Cup Winner, Will Greenwood MBE.
It was a fantastic event full of inspirational stories, people and celebrations as the broker-backed causes received funding for the amazing projects in their communities.
Over 160 brokers took the opportunity to apply in May and June by backing their cause and sharing how together, they’re making their communities brighter. In addition to the main award winners below, 25 additional prizes of £500 were also awarded to causes in the early entry prize draw.

Speaking at the event, Ryan shared:
“We’re really proud to bring the Community Fund back to our brokers in 2023. It’s our continued promise to champion brokers and build relationships that go beyond the day-to-day business engagement, we want to support issues that matter to you and your people. I spent time reviewing the entries and was blown away by the passion from brokers as well as the impact of the causes. Seeing what you’re doing across the UK to support these communities is so impressive, and truly humbling”.
Amongst the broker-backed winners this year were sports clubs, community hubs, food banks, recycling initiatives, family support projects and more.
