Why do clients need Minifleet cover?
- Laws in the UK state that all vehicles must have valid insurance to be driven on the road and Third-Party insurance is the minimum cover that's required.
- Insurance offers financial protection if vehicles are involved in an accident that damages another vehicle or property, or injures someone.
- If a business uses more than one vehicle, taking out individual cover for each one, could become expensive and time consuming. Minifleet cover is designed to cover a number of different vehicles all on one policy.
Why choose Aviva's Minifleet cover?
Our Minifleet policy is for between 1 and 15 vehicles owned and used by a business. Single vehicle risks will be offered a No Claim Discount (NCD) rated quotation, 2 vehicle risks can choose either NCD or fleet rating and 3+ will be offered a fleet rated quotation. Customers who begin a policy on NCD rating but grow their schedule size will move over to fleet rating at the appropriate time without the need for a policy reissue. Carriage of Goods for Hire or Reward use is also available.
We offer three levels of vehicle cover
- Comprehensive - this is the highest level of cover your client can have and It covers their vehicle and any others involved in an accident
- Third-Party, Fire and Theft - this covers your client for the costs of injury or damage caused to other people or their property, as well as repairs or replacement if their vehicle is stolen or damaged by fire
- Third-Party Only - this is the minimum your client can legally have and it covers the costs of injury or damage caused to other people or their property

Our Minifleet product provides
- Third-Party Property Damage up to £20 million for cars and motorcycles and up to £5 million for all other vehicle types
- Legal Services and Advice
- Guarantees on repair from approved Aviva repairers for three years (whilst owned, wear and tear isn't covered and the vehicle must be kept roadworthy)
- Where entitled, Private car or goods carrying vehicles of up to 7.5T as a courtesy vehicle - Class A type car of Class V1 van
