What’s in store for the rest of 2020

Whilst 2020 hasn't been the year any of us expected, we're as committed as ever to championing brokers and supporting our partners and clients through the uncertainty and the likely tough times ahead. We were reminded of this last week when FCA published the Court’s judgement in the Business Interruption Test Case and the UK government introduced more localised lockdowns.

We know that there’s a long road ahead in terms of economic uncertainty and tricky trading conditions. That’s why we’re continuing to evolve our Back to Business campaign. We’ll be focusing on areas such as the changing market conditions, certainty and adequacy of cover, help with navigating future challenges like data, cyber, and support to help grow your business and navigate the ‘new norm’.

It also seems a little crazy that the awards season is almost upon us. In a year like no other where challenges have been all-consuming for most of us, it’s a chance for a little light relief and to reflect on how we’ve all managed our way through the past few months.

Insurance Times Awards

Congratulations to all the brokerages and companies shortlisted in the Insurance Times Awards 2020. We're proud to join this year’s finalists as a ‘Customer Champion’ and for supporting brokers with ‘Excellence in Professional Development’. We've also made the nominated shortlist for ‘General Insurer’ and ‘Commercial Lines Insurer’ of the Year which is now open to your vote to decide who wins.

Of course, we'd love to have your vote for General and Commercial Insurer of the Year if you think we’ve made the grade, but whoever you choose, don't miss your chance to have your say.

I’d also encourage you to keep talking to us and the team to tell us the ways we can continue to support you further.

Best wishes,

Karen
