How do I view and amend my bank details if I wish to settle my account by Direct Debit? Is there bank validation?
When you first opt to pay by Direct Debit, you'll be taken to a form to complete your bank details and confirm that you're authorised to use the account. Any Direct Debit payments after this will be pre-filled with the previously entered bank details, but you'll have an option to click on 'Amend Bank Details' to edit should they need to be changed. Any bank details submitted will be checked for validity. Please note that you can't use a Trust or Savings account to pay via Direct Debit.
