Now working harder for your clients

The enhanced MyHealthCounts will be available to all new and renewing policies with a start date of 14 July onwards.

We’ve been working to improve your clients’ experience of using MyHealthCounts, our digital health and wellbeing tool, to help them monitor, understand and improve their health.

MyHealthCounts now offers new features to help your clients live a healthier life. It also gives them the chance to earn up to 15% on their renewal premium*. 

What’s new?

  • MyHealthCounts app Now available as an app as well as online, so clients can access MyHealthCounts on the go.
  •         Four new health risk assessments Your clients can get even more insights into their health with health risk assessments that cover off more conditions. Alongside the cardiovascular assessment, we’ve added assessments for cancer (lung, breast, prostate, colon, skin, and stomach), diabetes, lungs, and dementia.

  • The more they engage, the more they save Your clients can complete a series of actions, each one helping them earn a discount on their renewal premium, so the more they do, the bigger the  potential discount – up to 15%*.
  • Greater understaning of their health New features will help them gain a greater understanding of their health, make lifestyle improvements, and track healthy activities.

The more they engage, the more they save with up to 15% discount at renewal*

Your clients can complete a number of actions as part of their MyHealthCounts journey. As well as giving them a better understanding of their health, tracking their lifestyle activity could help them monitor and improve their health and wellbeing.

Each action they complete can contribute towards a potential saving they could make at renewal. They could earn up to 15% off their renewal premium* by ticking off these actions:

  • Completing all five health risk assessments during their qualifying window
  • Scores given for cardiovascular, cancer, diabetes and lungs health risk assessments count towards the discount they could earn 
  • Connecting and syncing a health and fitness app
  • Consistently logging progress towards completing a health goal they’ve set (applies from the second year of taking part in this new version of MyHealthCounts)

The more they do, the greater their potential of earning up to a 15% discount* on their renewal premium.

More features to help your clients understand and improve their health

Your clients could also benefit from other features that could help improve their wellbeing:

  • Get guidance on how to tackle lifestyle factors affecting their health and wellbeing based on their health risk assessments
  • Set goals and opt to receive tips to help address any barriers to meeting those goals
  • Join any of the 12-week programmes to help improve lifestyle factors they may need to address
  • Earn virtual badges for milestones achieved during the MyHealthCounts journey, including health streaks, goal progression, and completing health risk assessments
  • Explore the health library containing articles that can help with making lifestyle adjustments to improve their health and wellbeing. 

Who can use MyHealthCounts?

In a nutshell, every person who is covered by an Aviva Healthier Solutions private medical insurance policy and over the age of 18 at the start of the policy year.

Each person will need to register with their own individual email address. 

It’s free to use and could give valuable insights into an individual’s health, plus tips on how to be as healthy as possible.
