Wellbeing services from Aviva

for Solutions clients

Who cares wins

We want to help you support your clients’ scheme members  as they seek to live their best lives. That means encouraging them to consider their wellbeing in terms of everything they do – what they eat, how active they are, their mental health, how they sleep and how they spend and save money.

By promoting healthier habits and incremental shifts in attitudes and actions we help people make informed, balanced and positive lifestyle choices.

Whether it's through the Aviva Wellbeing app, Aviva Digital GP, Get Active, the Stress Counselling helpline, or our mental health guidance videos for both line managers and employees, there's a service to support them.

Physical wellbeing

By helping promote physical wellbeing, your clients could help their employees to become happier, healthier and more productive, while working to reduce absenteeism, presenteeism and the associated costs

Mental wellbeing

Financial wellbeing

Our financial wellbeing tools support and educate your clients' employees in how they spend and save their money

Why is wellbeing so important?

Looking after the wellbeing of your employees is important. It has the potential to improve staff retention, employee engagement, resilience and productivity. It also helps safeguard against a wide range of business risks, including low morale, poor productivity and absenteeism.

The right culture

When it comes to wellbeing in the workplace, getting the basics right can make a world of difference. Things like a good working environment, flexible working and an inclusive culture, where people can be themselves in the workplace, are all important aspects of a wellbeing culture where employees feel supported.

While free fruit, yoga classes and wellbeing apps can all have positive impacts, what employees will benefit most from is support, understanding and flexibility from employers when it comes to personal wellbeing.

The right benefits to take advantage of

Wellbeing isn’t a one size fits all approach, so not every benefit offered will suit everyone – this is why it’s important that your clients should offer a broad enough range of benefits to suit the people they employ. It’s important for clients to look at wellbeing holistically across all areas.

Who’s eligible?

All Aviva Solutions health insurance customers can access the wellbeing services at no additional charge. We think it’s important that your clients’ eligible employees can easily find support to live well and stay healthy every day, alongside the peace of mind that’s provided by the healthcare cover included in their policies.

GP choice

Your clients will be offered both male and female GPs to choose from. They can also select to search for a GP who they have seen previously, via the app, within the last 6 months in order to book directly with them, subject to availability. Additionally, they can review GPs' bios and select a GP based on who best suits their needs.

Consultation advice

After a consultation, they will be able to see the advice they have been given and consultation history within the app.

Repeat NHS prescriptions

They can order prescribed repeat medication within the app (all NHS England exemptions are accepted) and get free UK delivery.

Private prescription delivery service

Eligible employees have the option to choose delivery of medication to their home, office or other nominated location – or they can choose to collect from their local pharmacy. There is no charge for the provision of a private prescription, but your clients will need to pay the dispensing pharmacy for the cost of medication. If home delivery is selected this will be subject to Royal Mail fees. You can find out more information about the associated charges on our FAQS
