In 2019, Anthony sponsored Neil Thomsett, Group Resources Manager, at Adler Fairways to join the Aviva Future Leader Programme as a delegate. Anthony reflects on the skills required to run a brokerage and how having Neil on the Aviva Future Leader Programme has helped to transform the business.
Commenting on what it takes to support a future leader, Anthony shares “I’ve seen such an improvement within Neil, once he completed his diploma and his twelve months on the Aviva Future Leader Programme, I made him a statutory director. As an owner, you’ve got to be prepared to support the individual, because it does need a lot of commitment, but you will get the rewards, the individual will get the rewards but also the brokerage.”
