Changes to our Direct Debit guidelines

From 3 June 2024, we’ll be implementing a change to our guidelines concerning the placement of your customers onto Direct Debit billing plans for all Personal lines, Commercial lines and Aviva Private Clients products.

What's the change?

From 3 June 2024 all billing plans must be set up within 30 days of the policy inception or renewal date.

Why are we making this change?

This is to make sure fairness of payment calculations by our systems for all clients are in line with Consumer Duty requirements.
