Management Liability claims explained

You may have seen our recent video featuring Alana Muir and Matthew Houghton discussing the relationship between Cyber and Management Liability claims.

Well, Matthew is back, this time alongside Matthew Harrison, Senior Claims Manager, to look at the different types of claims that fall under the Management Liability umbrella.

Claims tend to sit under one of the three elements of cover – Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability and Corporate Legal Liability – and will vary in nature and type depending on which one they relate to. The way they are managed and the time they take to resolve also varies so it’s important for you to be aware of these differences in order to manage your clients expectations effectively.

In this video, the two Matthews explore these types of claims in a bit more detail, explain the benefits of using a panel solicitor if defence is required and also give both a claims and an underwriting perspective on when to notify us if a potential issue arises.
