In more detail

Cover options include:

  • Bequeathed property - covers property left in a will for up to three months, giving your clients time to get exactly the right cover in place. Includes buildings cover up to 10% of the sum assured (maximum £250,000) and contents up to £25,000
  • Motor no-claims discount and excess protection - lets staff and volunteers use their own vehicles without losing their own no-claim discount or paying an excess if there’s an incident
  • Property at events - if your client needs to take property away from their premises for fundraising or catering events, it’s covered up to £5,000
  • Resilient repairs - if your client’s premises are damaged, instead of just replacing like for like, we’ll pay up to £50,000 in any one claim to help reduce the impact of similar future losses. For example, water-resistant kitchens or moving the fuse box and other electrics
  • Buildings and contents items uplift - both covers are uplifted by 20% (to a maximum uplift of £500,000) helping to tackle underinsurance which might otherwise exist
  • Death or adverse publicity of a patron - if a patron dies, or is accused of, or charged with, any criminal act or offence, or is the subject of adverse publicity, we’ll pay any resulting shortfall in revenue up to £25,000
