Boost efficiency with Aviva's new digital letter of authority process

We’re excited to introduce a new self-service digital Letter of Authority (LoA) on the Aviva Platform, which aims to increase efficiency in the way you handle client information.

Rather than the traditional slow moving process, our new digital solution allows you to:

  • Submit information requests online
  • Track progress in real time
  • Improve turnaround time for LoA requests

Ultimately, these improvements save valuable time for both you and your clients, bringing your focus away from admin and back to advice. These improvements are in line with the commitment to provide transparency, honesty, and protection for clients, keeping in line with Consumer Duty regulations.

What is it?

The Unipass Letter of Authority (ULoA), developed by Origo, is an award-winning, whole-of-market digital solution that bridges the gap between you, providers, and platforms. Developed with input from industry professionals, ULoA offers a secure, GDPR-compliant portal where you can confidently share sensitive client information in LoA requests.

How does it work?

Requests can be sent digitally via the portal or routed via secure email, which means only a single method for all LoA requests.

Since introducing the letter of authority (LoA) digital solution, nine out of ten requests are now accepted on first submission without the need for additional information. This delivers efficiencies for both our advisers and customers.

How do I get started?

The service is free and requires only a Unipass Identity to begin.

  1.  Apply for a Unipass Identity online
  2. Register to Unipass Letter of Authority
  3. Submit ULoA requests immediately
