Our Smooth Managed Growth Rates have increased

The Bank of England Base Rate changed from 0.25% to 0.50% on the 3rd February 2022,  meaning our Smooth Growth Rates (SGRs) have increased.

The Smooth Managed Funds offer a degree of reliability that your clients may be searching for in these uncertain times. Their Smooth Growth Rates* are linked to the Bank of England Base Rate, which could offer a level of reassurance for those concerned about the impacts of low interest rates and high inflation on their investments.

The new increased Smooth Growth Rates are as follows:

Smooth Managed Fund

For Pensions business (S14) and ISA business (S15) the SGR is increasing from 5.25% to 5.50%.

For Life business (S4) the SGR is increasing from 4.25% to  4.50%.

Smooth Managed Fund 2

For Pensions business (S14) and ISA business (S15) the SGR is increasing from 4.00% to 4.25%.

For Life business (S4) the SGR is increasing from 3.25% to  3.50%.

*Smooth Growth Rate – the Smoothed Price for the Smooth Managed Fund will normally increase each day in line with the Smooth Growth Rate. All Smooth Growth Rates are shown before charges. The fund is not guaranteed to grow in line with the Smooth Growth Rate and may return more or less than this over any time period.
