Over the years, this cover has paid out for all the 18 covered bone fractures, paying a total of £10.4 million1. This cover has been a lifeline for many, making sure they have financial help should they need to take time off work to recover.

We’ve now enhanced our Fracture Cover, making it even more attractive to your clients, but especially those who work in manual jobs, where common fractures can immediately mean they’re unable work. This enhancement can provide even greater support and peace of mind to our customers.

More coverage for common fractures

The most common claimed fractures covered by Aviva include: the wrist, hand, arm, and ankle. Recognising the need for increased support, we’ve enhanced our payouts for these and other fractures.

11 of the 18 bone fractures will see increased payouts, with seven fractures now eligible for the highest payout amount of £6,000. This development means that the average benefit amount payable has increased by 38%.

This increase makes sure your clients get some of the financial support they need to recover without added financial stress.

We know how difficult it can be financially for some customers if they suffer a bone fracture. We’re enhancing the payment amounts for 11 of the 18 fractures we cover to ensure that customers have the financial means to concentrate on their recovery without worrying about money.

Supporting those who need it most

Fracture Cover is particularly vital for people in manual or driver-based jobs. For these customers, a broken bone is not just an inconvenience – it can significantly impact their ability to work and earn a living.  Of the 10 most common jobs of claimants, seven are in these fields1. They include:

·         builders

·         delivery drivers

·         factory workers

·         warehouse workers

These professions often involve more physical labour, making recovery from fractures more challenging and worrying when it comes to finances. Aviva’s enhanced Fracture Cover aims to lessen some of the worry by providing more comprehensive financial support.

Why choose Aviva’s Fracture Cover for your clients?

·         Proven track record: since 2016, we have consistently supported customers financially through their fracture recovery journeys, demonstrating reliability and commitment1.

·         Higher payouts: with increased payouts for 11 sites of bone fractures and up to £6,000 for the most severe cases, we make sure your clients get the financial support they need.

·         Focused on the clients’ needs: we understand the unique challenges faced by all customers, but especially, manual, and driver-based workers.
