AIG Life is now Aviva Protection UK
As AIG Life were bought by Aviva last year, we’ve been busy getting ready to move under the Aviva brand. And we’ve been working with you to communicate exactly what rebranding means for customers.
Following an update to Advisers in November 2024 and a communication directly to customers earlier this year, the day’s finally here.
Today, AIG Life is now officially Aviva Protection UK.
Working with us going forward
There’s nothing different about the support that’s on offer – whether it’s claims, service or something else. But there are a couple of key things you need to be aware of as we continue to work together:

All AIG Life policies taken out from today will be in Aviva branding

Any communications you get from us will also be Aviva branded – whether that’s updates on your clients or new commission statements

You’ll see Smart Health’s name change to Aviva Smart Health*, with a new website and updated app

If your clients use the app, they’ll need to download the new version and log in again as normal. They just need to search ‘Aviva Smart Health’ in either the AppStore (for Apple users) or GooglePlay (for Android)

Please double check you’ve updated all references of AIG Life to Aviva Protection UK – everywhere from your website to your marketing materials

To get in touch, use the new Aviva Protection UK contact details:
- Emails now end in @protection.aviva.com instead of @aiglife.co.uk
- Our postal address is now Aviva Protection UK Limited, PO Box 12010, Harlow, CM20 9LG
- Website pages now start with protection.aviva.com, not aiglife.co.uk
- Our phone numbers are staying the same. You can find them on the contact us page of the website
Future proposal to transfer your clients’ policies
Later this year, we’ll get in touch again to tell you all about a proposal to transfer your clients’ policies to another company within the Aviva group called Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited. We’ll share much more about the process, what this means for you, your clients and their rights in relation to it when we get in touch later this year so, please keep an eye out for this communication.
