Discover new and updated Aviva DigiCare+ services

Here at Aviva, making sure our customers get the most out of our services comes first. So from 29 January 2026, Aviva DigiCare+ is changing.

From unlimited, round-the-clock access to our Digital GP service to a personal training service, your clients will be getting more from Aviva DigiCare+. We’re updating the wellbeing services on offer to your clients, including changes to existing services and even introducing something new.

And for your clients, that means easier access to the services they need for a healthy body and a happy mind.

So…what’s changing?

We’re rolling out some changes to the Aviva DigiCare+ app services on our personal protection policies (excluding Simple Life Iinsurance), sold direct and through advisers like you. These changes are based on how people are actually using Aviva DigiCare+. It’s all part of how we make sure we’re giving your clients the services that best match their wants and needs.

A GP whenever they need it

From 29 January, your clients now will get round-the-clock access to appointments with our Digital GP service. We’re saying goodbye to the three 8am to 8pm appointments per year and introducing a 24/7 service with unlimited appointments, available 365 days a year. That means your clients and their families can get the medical advice they need, whenever they need it.

Six extra sessions a year across our support services

When it comes to working on your wellbeing, we know extra sessions with a specialist can make a huge difference. That’s why we’re expanding our mental health, bereavement, and nutrition support to offer your clients eight sessions a year rather than six. So, whether they need help with a mental health problem, working on their eating habits, or support through losing a loved one, they get even more time with a dedicated specialist.

Balancing the scales with our annual health check

And from 29 January, the finger-prick annual health check and digital follow-up with a professional will be available for £39.95 through the app. We know this is something we previously offered at no additional cost, but this change reflects how people are using services like Aviva DigiCare+ today. It also allows your clients to have unlimited access to a 24/7 digital GP for their whole family, whilst still getting access to an affordable and comprehensive health check.

And introducing a brand new service…

On top of these changes to existing services, we’re introducing a brand-new personal training service. Your clients will get eight online consultations a year with a personal trainer, who assesses their current level of fitness, any goals they have and the challenges they’re working towards.

Together, they’ll develop a bespoke fitness training programme for them to work through – which they can view digitally whenever it suits them.

Let your clients know they’re getting more from Aviva DigiCare+

Your clients and their wellbeing are at the heart of these changes. Whether it’s help building healthier habits or taking that first step to take charge of their fitness, we’re making sure your clients can get more out of their everyday life. So start letting them know about the changes and what it means for them today.

In a nutshell, from 29 January, they’ll get:

  • an unlimited, 24/7 Digital GP service
  • a new personal training service
  • optional annual health checks for £39.95
  • two extra mental health, bereavement, and nutritional support sessions a year.

And that’s on top of everything already available through Aviva DigiCare+. As a reminder, the Aviva DigiCare+ app and services are non contractual and can be changed or removed at any time. The app is provided by Square Health and the services are provided by Square Health and other third parties. Terms and residency restrictions apply.

Here’s what our Managing Director of Protection said:

Aviva’s latest enhancements to Aviva DigiCare+ on our individual protection policies reflect our commitment to supporting our customers and their families with accessible, round-the-clock health and wellbeing services. Unlimited digital GP appointments, now available 24/7, means customers and family members can get medical advice whenever they need it.

We are also delighted to expand our mental health, bereavement and nutrition support, along with adding a new personal trainer offering, to further support our customers with wellbeing and prevention.

While the Annual Health Check will now carry a small cost, this change helps ensure we are providing a really high-quality added-value benefit, with extended value to all customers and family members through unlimited access to a digital GP service.
