Hannah: Hi Al, can you tell me about the changes that we have just made on the Aviva Adviser Platform?

Al: So, we have just removed the last additional charge over and above the platform fee. This is for all of our clients and our open market propositions.

Hannah: That’s great and why have we made this change?

Al: We believe it offers transparency and value to the clients, the impact of charges adds up over time so it can have a real drag on client portfolios and last year we removed the exchange traded charge within models and this year we’ve removed it for outside models as well, so those charges are both gone.

Hannah: That’s great news and what other charges do we not have on the Aviva Platform that you might see on other Platforms in the market.

Al:  So, some charges that you might experience elsewhere would be things like administration and administration fees, drawdown fees, those ETI charges but also charges for ETFs, rebalancing charges and switching charges as well.

Hannah: So, there’s a lot there the Aviva Platform isn’t charging advisors or clients that other platform would be?

AL: Yes, it’s just a Platform fee for us.

Hannah: Just a Platform fee, that’s great.

Hannah: And what about cash margin, I know that’s something that has come up in the past?

Al: So cash margin has been a hot topic, and we are still not taking any margin on cash we believe that offers value for clients and advisers on the Aviva Platform.

Hannah: Fantastic, thanks Al

Al: No worries
