Manage client beneficiary details
Policies that start with TK, TL, S, P, 8, M, GX, or JX.
These instructions are relevant if the policy is part of a group personal pension (GPP) or an individual personal pension (IPP)
To manage your clients’ beneficiary details, you must hold servicing rights on this policy.
Follow these steps, the process will only take a few minutes.
- Log in to your Aviva Adviser account.
- Search your client's account and choose the relevant policy.
- From the Manage Policy menu on the righthand side, select Change of beneficiary.
- From here you will be able to add, remove, or update beneficiary details.
- Follow the steps to allocate a % beneficiary share and accept the declaration to complete the request.

How to change an individual beneficiary
- Log in to your Aviva Adviser account.
- Select Platform Clients.
- From the review menu, select client details.
- Select the Pension details tab and then click the edit button on the right.
- Scroll to Beneficiaries for SIPP and click the add button.
- Update the details, then go to the bottom of the page and click Save changes.
How to change a beneficiary to an entity (such as charity or trust)
- First go the Aviva Connect website.
- Select Platform and Investments from the banner at the top of the page.
- Choose Document library from the menu and search for the Expression of wishes form.
- Your client will need to fill out and return the form to you.
- To upload the completed form, log in to your Aviva Adviser account, and go to the relevant client account page.
- From the review menu, select Correspondence.
- Click Add new document to upload the form.
What happens now?
We'll process your request and update our policy records. It can sometimes take up to two working days before the changes appear online.
Further changes?
You can make further changes to beneficiaries at any time. We'll process all requests in the order we receive them.
