Platform Adoption Consultant

What is your role?

My role at Aviva is a Platform Adoption Consultant. This includes supporting the wealth team in their drive to grow platform sales and improve retention with the successful adoption of the Aviva Platform.

How long have you worked for Aviva/been in the industry?

I have been at Aviva and in the industry for 19 years. I initially started as a Regional Co-ordinator supporting the Regional Manager in the local office. I then moved across to a sales support role before becoming a Platform Adoption Consultant.

Describe a typical day/week in your role

Engaging with advisers and IFA staff on a daily basis via email, phone calls, Teams and f2f meetings. This involves training on the platform and also helping with existing business processes. I often work closely with internal stakeholders on both platform and propositional upgrades and help with platform queries. And another big part of my role is rolling out new training programmes for new propositions on the platform and making sure advisers are comfortable and confident.

What is the thing you’re most proud of that has benefited advisers?

I am most proud of the relationships I have built over the years which has derived from the ongoing support I provide. People respect my opinion and my guidance when it comes to platform processes, and I am very proud to be known as the “go-to” person.
