What is your role?

Platform Adoption Consultant. I provide training to new advisers on the Advised Platform and solve any queries or issues that arise. I also support existing firms with new changes and developments to our proposition.

How long have you worked for Aviva/been in the industry?

I have worked for Aviva for 10 years, mainly in the Advised Platform Operations team, but I have been in the financial services industry for 14 years in total.

Describe a typical day/week in your role

I very recently joined the team, so I am currently in training which I hope to finalise later this year.
So far, my role has been mostly shadowing other PACs and attending internal training sessions, but I have started to pick up some enquiries from our advisers and have made a start on building those all important new relationships. I am also studying to pass my R01 & R04 exams.

What is the thing you’re most proud of that has benefited advisers?

It's still early days for me, but the first call I made to an IFA which helped resolve an urgent enquiry.
