Benefit type: Lump sum payment

Minimum core benefit (selected and paid for by employer): 1x salary paid as lump sum

Maximum benefit: 15x salary

Step options: Increases of multiples salary

Maximum benefit: 5x salary up to £500,000*

Group Income Protection

Benefit type: Monthly benefit or lump sum payment**

Minimum core benefit (selected and paid for by employer): 35% of salary

Maximum benefit: 80% of salary up to £425,000

Step options: Up to 80% of salary, with option to increase benefit payment term

* For Spouse/Partner Critical Illness, the maximum benefit available is £250,000 or the amount selected by the employee if lower. And for Children's Critical Illness, it's 25% of the value of an employees benefit, up to a maximum of £25,000.

** Lump sum benefit payments on Group Income Protection are only covered as a core benefit and are payable at the and of a chosen limited payment term should the employee continue to meet the definition of incapacity.

The wellbeing services are non-contractual benefits Aviva can change or withdraw at any time. This does not include Grief Encounter, who are a charity and is available to the general public. Terms, usage limits and residency restrictions apply.
