Platform Enhancements – June 2025
We’re pleased to share a series of updates designed to enhance your experience and improve platform functionality:
- Smooth Managed Funds Now Available for Onshore Bonds
Insured Funds are now enabled for Onshore Bonds, allowing selection of Smooth Managed Funds within this product range. Read more about this exciting development.
- Consistent Quote References Across All Touchpoints
Quote references are now aligned across the website confirmation screen, quote documents, and saved quotes on Aviva Connect simplifying illustration retrieval.
- Session Timeout Warning Banner
When logged-in you will receive a pop-up banner after 15 minutes of inactivity, warning of automatic logout in 5 minutes. A countdown timer improves visibility and helps prevent session disruptions.
- Adviser Dashboard – Default Tab Update
The default landing tab has changed from “Performance” to “Assets,” enabling quicker access to client investment snapshots.
- Bed & ISA – Default Asset Weighting Format
To reduce errors and streamline the process, the asset weighting toggle now defaults to percentage (%) rather than pounds (£).
- Alphabetical Adviser Name Display
Adviser names in the quote journey are now listed alphabetically, improving navigation and efficiency.
- Accurate Display of Restricted Asset Allocations
Tradable but restricted assets now show correct allocation percentages in the switch journey UI, replacing previous 0% placeholders.
- Improved Transaction History Filters
- Aviva Charges now appear only under “Platform Charges”
- DIM & Model Fees now appear under “Adviser Charges”
These refinements help advisers filter charges more accurately.
- Clearer Flexi Account Merge Conditions
Updated wording clarifies the conditions required for merging post-retirement accounts, improving transparency.
- Completed Applications – Filter Logic Fix
A defect affecting the 'Older than one month' filter has been resolved. Filters now return accurate results.
- Client Address Formatting Correction
Outbound letters now display client addresses without unnecessary gaps, ensuring a more professional presentation.
